By accessing WaterAtlas (the “Service”) you agree to these terms. WaterAtlas is a non-commercial, open project provided for general information only and is currently in an early testing stage. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
Informational purpose only
The Service aggregates publicly available water-sector project and procurement information. It is provided for research and general information. It is not financial, investment, procurement, legal, or professional advice, and must not be relied upon as such. See the Disclaimer for details.
Data & licensing
The application’s core is released under the AGPL-3.0 license. The underlying project data is aggregated from third-party public sources, each of which is governed by its own terms and license. Where data is redistributed or exported, its original source attribution and license accompany it, and you are responsible for complying with those source terms in your own use.
Accounts
If you create an account, you are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for activity under your account. You agree to provide accurate information and not to misuse the Service.
Acceptable use
- Do not attempt to disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorized access to the Service.
- Do not use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of a data source’s terms.
- Automated bulk access should be reasonable and must respect the source licenses.
No fees at this stage
The Service is currently provided free of charge and no payments are collected.
No warranty
The Service and all data are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, completeness, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any decision made or action taken in reliance on the Service or its data.
Changes
The Service and these terms may change as the project develops. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
